High fever kills cancer, say doctors in pioneering therapy
by What Doctors Don't Tell You - 6/19/2009
As reported by the ‘What Doctors Don't Tell You’ journal last February, a fever and a high temperature can kill off cancer cells. Now the idea is being tested on patients with pancreatic cancer.

Cancer specialists at a Texas hospital are using thermal therapy to raise the body temperature of cancer patients from the usual 98 degrees to 104 degrees, a level normally experienced when we suffer from a bad bout of flu.

The doctors carrying out the therapy believe it may kick-start the immune system into action, and so fight the cancer naturally. They are hoping that the approach will reduce the amount of chemotherapy the patient needs.

The therapy, being carried out at the Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston, is given to pancreatic cancer patients once a month for a six-month period.

The ‘What Doctors Don't Tell You’ article revealed that many cases of spontaneous regression have followed a period of high fever. (Source: Ivanhoe Newswire, June 12, 2009; What Doctors Don't Tell You. February 2009).
