Lynn Keegan, R.N., Ph.D., H.N.C., F.A.A.N. is an internationally recognized leader in holistic nursing. She was formerly an Associate Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, School of Nursing in San Antonio, Texas and Director, Bodymind Systems in Temple, Texas. Her formal education was at Cornell University, Loma Linda University, and The University of Texas at Austin. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and is active in multiple professional nursing organizations.

She has authored or co-authored 6 books including: The Nurse As Healer Holistic Nursing: A Handbook for Practice, and The Art of Caring and more than 20 professional journal publications; in addition she serves as an editor for nursing journals and book series. She is past president of the American Holistic Nurses' Association and is a frequent conference speaker on aspects of holism.
