Vaccine Books

© 1996 Randall Neustaedter O.M.D.

The Vaccine Guide helps parents make their own choices about vaccines for their children. The controversies surrounding vaccines have not been publicized. The Vaccine Guide is the first comprehensive review of adverse effects of vaccines presented to the general public. This information about vaccines has been suppressed and hidden from the public as well as the medical profession. The evidence contained in this book, gleaned from the peer-reviewed medical literature, is undeniable.

The startling materials brought to light in this book should give parents second thoughts about blindly following the advice of the pediatrician and vaccine manufacturers. The toll in serious reactions and chronic disease caused by vaccines continues to mount. Autoimmune reactions resulting in paralysis, arthritis, and chronic damage to nerves have been reported following every childhood vaccine. The possibility that vaccines cause chronic diseases of later life seems more likely as the evidence repeatedly and consistently reveals these adverse effects. Nervous system and immune system damage from vaccines could be crippling our populations.

The Vaccine Guide gives parents the information they need in an organized step-by-step format to make decisions about the use of vaccines in their children. Parents have the responsibility to provide the best health care possible for their own children. Parents choose to give vaccines or avoid them based on the information they receive. Without this knowledge they are left in the dark about the crucial issues that effect their children at every doctor’s visit. Faithful reliance on the advice of health care providers proves inadequate if vital information continues to be withheld. When parents do question the validity or wisdom of administering vaccines to their child, they receive little support in their efforts to make an informed choice. This book is intended to help parents in this often difficult and agonizing choice.

Part I takes parents through the background, the philosophy, the misconceptions, and the data they will need to form their own opinions about vaccines. A discussion of personal health-care philosophy places parents’ choices about vaccines within their overall perspective of medicine, healing, preventive practices, and lifestyle. The vaccine issue represents just one of the personal choices that parents make as consumers of health care services and participants in healing efforts.

The chapters on vaccine studies, both conventional and alternative, contain an examination of the methods used and a critique of the conclusions derived from these studies. This analysis provides parents with a better understanding of the limitations inherent in the very studies that purport to justify vaccine effectiveness.

The chapter on legal requirements takes parents through the necessary steps to obtain exemption from vaccines. This practical approach guides parents through the confusing legal process that surrounds vaccination. Charts are included that list the exemptions available state by state and the procedures necessary to qualify.

Part II discusses each of the diseases and their vaccines, including otherwise inaccessible facts about vaccine reactions. Parents receive all the information they need to make their own decisions, based on risks of the diseases versus risks of vaccines. Each of the chapters on the individual diseases in Part II presents current recommendations, research, and problems with the corresponding vaccine. Discussion of controversies includes the latest medical literature references. Chapters on hepatitis, haemophilus, chicken pox, and acellular pertussis vaccines reflect the most recent technology and reports of significant adverse reactions to these newest entries in the panoply of childhood vaccination. Throughout the book parents receive support, as well as previously unavailable information, in their efforts to question the prescribed childhood vaccination routines.
