Welcome to the Holistic Pediatric Alliance (HPA) Membership Directory. The HPA is a non-profit, educational membership organization. Our members are holistic practitioners who work with children and are dedicated to an approach to pediatric care that focuses on the principles of health, wellness, and the safe resolution of illness.

The HPA has not verified the credentials or claims of its members. We encourage parents to interview practitioners to determine whether any individual health care provider will meet your needs and expectations. If you do not find a practitioner right away, please check back since we are adding new members regularly.

Philosphy/Description: What are the Principles of HOLISTIC CHILD HEALTH care?

In HOLISTIC CHILD HEALTH, you and Dr. Palevsky are in a learning partnership, where maintaining wellness and safely treating illness involves the whole family. Suggestions for prevention and treatment are designed to help you 1) recognize and reduce/eliminate/modify specific factors that overwhelm your children and contribute to their symptoms and illnesses, and 2) incorporate safe remedies that restore well-being and ease your children's symptoms without suppressing the important body functions necessary to re-establish balance.

With HOLISTIC CHILD HEALTH, the ultimate goal is to respect how infants and children evolve and mature, doing no harm to the health and stability of their maturing immune, nervous and digestive systems, thereby nourishing them to reach their maximum potential as human beings, in body, mind and spirit.

HOLISTIC CHILD HEALTH is based on the idea that infants and children have a natural biological capacity to heal themselves. This is especially true when they are in a nourishing environment. Infants and children show some degree of wellness, even when they are acutely or chronically ill, and have the potential for illness, even when they appear to be well.
