The Community of Santa Barbara, California-
The Healer Within was born in Santa Barbara. Thousands of citizens have attended the Wednesday practice session throughout its history of over seven years.
Numerous community organizations and private businesses have hosted, sponsored or participated in the growth and develpment of The Healer Within concept and practices.
This can happen in your community too.
Our weekly community practice session takes place every
Wednesday at 10:30 am. There is a group of four facilitators who rotate so
no one person has to be there all the time. These include:
The hospitals, clinics and agencies noted above refer clients to the weekly praactice of self-care and self-healing.
Each week the group attracts between 20 and 35 people. Some people come 3 or 4 times a year and others come every week for a while and then practice at home. Some have come from Isreal, South Africa, Europe and China as well as from all around the United States.
Thanks to Santa Barbara for being a model for the world.
