"With Kat James’ program I was able to painlessly wean myself off sugar and onto foods that are almost as sweet, but are healthier, more filling and won't make my blood sugar spike and then crash.

"Another huge change is that for the last few years, I’d had a dry, itchy scalp. The first couple days after washing my hair, there’d be no problems, but after that, I’d have itchiness on the back of my scalp, near the nape of my neck. During the same time period, I’d also developed seasonal allergies. But once I get back into healthy eating and my flaxseed oil, the conditions go away.

I never knew I’d had a sensitivity to sugar, never knew that it was causing me to break out, until a few months after I’d been eating so healthfully. When I eat the old way, I get the breakouts I always used to have — which has convinced me that getting rid of the sugar was the best thing I’ve done for my health.
